Highfield Farmhouse Dwelling

Located on a prominent hilltop in open countryside this new build property was designed to mirror traditional farm buildings whilst creating a modern and beautiful home.  The design involved a horseshoe shaped footprint with farmhouse, glazed 'stables' and barn elements that combine to create a single property.

 

The self build home was built using traditional methods by local craftsmen who used Burlington Slate, locally sourced natural stone and handmade windows to create a house that is sustainable and energy efficient.
