About us
Rural Studio Architecture is a RIBA Accredited Practice located in County Down, Northern Ireland. The practice was born out of a passion to design incredible spaces to live and work.
We believe in good design which responds to its context to deliver unique solutions for each individual client. We bring the same considered approach and use the same advanced design process, regardless of project size, budget or timescale, and we believe we can deliver great value for money regardless of the project type, budget or location.
As a practice we are happy to listen to you and discuss ideas before preparing a quotation. These early conversations are free without obligation and give you the chance to gain an understanding of how we can help, timescales and the opportunity to ask questions.

Robin has twenty five years of experience across a broad range of project types and values.
Robin marries a creative desire with a practical understanding of the construction process and of the local architectural context, seeking to offer a contemporary take on traditional forms and techniques.
Robin grew up near Kendal in The Lake District before studying Architecture at The University of Edinburgh. He has a passion for landscapes, is a keen triathlete, and has two dogs, two cats and seven chickens.
Zoë Parsons, ACIM, BA (Hons)
Practice Manager, Architectural Research
Zoë combines a creative desire with a professional background in marketing (CIM) and business development.
Zoë has worked with a broad range of environmental, engineering, construction and utility companies.
Zoë is from Northern Ireland and is passionate about triathlon, swimming and horses.
